The Christmas goose was delicious!

Since I moved here 30 years ago, when I get hungry for carp, the saying goes: "Off to the shepherd in Hüttendorf". Because the carp tastes great there, and the part of the family who is not into carp will always find something delicious on the menu. During this season, only "to-go" is possible, but the carp is packaged ideally, no loss of taste or crispness due to the transport home (which luckily takes less than 10 minutes). Ordered and picked up again last Friday. Tasted great again. Thanks !

Very tasty food, the pick up went smoothly.

Today we ordered three medium sized carp to be picked up. Unfortunately two of them were very small and the tail fins were missing. The salad was very little and the celery salad was definitely canned. The potato salad only tasted sour. It's a shame, we were regulars.

Very tasty food, very nicely presented and very friendly staff. Was great, can only be recommended! The small hygiene surcharge is absolutely fine, if you consider the amount of effort that has to be made and the costs involved. Always my pleasure!

Really very good Franconian cuisine, from our own butcher's shop and from regional producers that are mentioned in the menu. Really fun, even with repetition. But make a reservation, it's worth it.

Unfortunately the recommendation was a big flop! The "head waitress" is the unfriendliness in person (no eye contact. No friendly thank you or request and the laugh, this person has already lost it for decades - note: despite the Corona mask, you can tell whether someone is smiling or not! In addition, even in times of crisis, the customer has to answer for it, because a corona surcharge of 50 cents per person is charged, for what reason actually (most innkeepers are grateful that their customers are back)? The prices are in relation to the portion for a country inn in Hutsvillage (Hüttendorf), very overpriced! The name Landhasthof doesn't really apply after a look at the menu. Both the food and the interior are more like an upscale restaurant, which the customer naturally pays for. We give one star to the food (was okay, but nothing special), the second goes to the rest of the crew, who were very friendly and courteous. Finally, the "head waitress" should be mentioned repeatedly, who crowned our originally planned as a relaxed evening with a cough from the beginning to the end of the checkout process, without leaving the table, impossible! Here the guest is not a king, but only part of the great money printing machinery, what a shame. We are guaranteed not to go back here, and we cannot make a recommendation.

Very good inn. Good Franconian cuisine and also highly recommended for fish lovers. Family celebrations are no problem. Reservation recommended. OK ... parking spaces scarce but nothing is perfect. 👍

Super delicious food. The best mushroom sirloin ever! But here you can just recommend everything! Come regularly, prefer to sit in the romantic beer garden!

It was one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in Germany! I had the mixed pan on a grill with chicken, beef and pork. It was spectacular! And even the side roast potatoes were yummy! I also had the dessert of the day and it was really worth it. The staff are super friendly. I hope to return there soon!

I strongly recommend this place for German food! They have senior portions, much healthier ando no waste!

Very delicious traditional food and acceptable prices

Great stuff, delicious meals! Honestly kitchen is better than some fansy restaurants in the big cities in Germany. I was really impressed with the onion soup!!! The chef deserves a Michelin star. Don't hesitate to visit, the stuff is SUPER friendly!!!

War Supper

The rooms are clean and tidy, and the family that owns the business is welcoming and friendly. They provided to meet our special requests, and the food is proper Franconian food (which is to say that it's very good). The guesthouse was, in short, exactly what my family and I needed for our 5-day stay in Huttendorf.

Good Meals, Nice Prices

Originally everything was fine and we checked in and got our room key. Then we came downstairs to leave for a wedding we were told our room was double booked and we were told we had booked for the following night but we had confirmation that we had booked for that night. In this time they had let the other people booked in the same room, into the room whilst all of our stuff was still in it. Then we were told they had no other doubles only a single room. Was not impressed! Also no Wi-fi was offered and breakfast was basic to say the least!

Small town. after 7 o'clock, almost shops nearby here - honestely, there are a few of shops. - are closed. Small room, few of convenience device, but Not cheap price... if you just need a sleeping place, I recommand. But if not...
